COMPLICATED RELATIONSHIP STATUS: HOW TO HANDLE DIFFICULT RELATIONSHIPS

This is life. There will always be difficult people, it doesn’t matter whether you met in church or at work place or night club, it doesn’t guarantee anything. A Character is like a DNA… So how do we handle such an unfortunate introduction into our lives?

Chiswell Freeman, adds voice to the debate, says, “Emotional health is contagious, and so is emotional distress. But if you’re fortunate enough to be surrounded by family members and friends who celebrate life and praise God, consider yourself profoundly blessed. Yet, you can be caught in an unhealthy, discouraging relationship. It’s time to look realistically at your situation. In fact, it’s probably time to begin making some changes. Delay is dangerous….

Don’t worry or fool yourself about changing other people; you can’t possibly do that. What you can do is to conduct yourself in a responsible manner and insist that others treat you with the dignity and consideration that you deserve.

Wait a minute, don’t be discouraged though. In spite of it all, God has grand plans for your life. He has promised that joy and abundance can be yours through Him. But make no mistake about it; to fully experience God’s gifts, you need happy, emotionally healthy people to share them with. But you know what, the fact remains that it’s absolutely up-to you to make sure that you do your part to build the kinds of relationships that will bring abundant joy to you, and by extension, to your family and to God’s world.

NOTE : WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS: “It is safer to meet a bear robbed of her cubs than to confront a fool caught in foolishness.”
 —-PROVERBS NLT 17: 12
